Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is a major violation of public international law. It has also created geopolitical and economic shock waves whose consequences will be felt in areas of international legal practice ranging from human rights to global investment, trade, and commercial disputes.
Legal practitioners internationally and in the region share a vital interest in understanding the current situation, how to advise clients on its future implications, and finding possible ways of contributing to a better tomorrow.
Through its Polish and Ukrainian Chapters, the International Section of the New York State Bar Association has decided to organize a one-day conference to bring together legal and business professionals to discuss and learn about these matters of great importance.
The conference will provide an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge and experience, building meaningful relationships, and showing our unity against injustice.
- Co-organizers: NYSBA International, NYSBA Polish Chapter, NYSBA Ukrainian Chapter
